Kirking Serivce held October 29, 2006

The Kirking O' The Tartan Service held on Oct. 29 was well attended. The sanctuary was full - we even had to open the overflow seating in the back room!

The Kirking service is a way that the congregation has the opportunity to learn more about how the Lord has provided us His Word in the English language, and opportunity to consider how some of the music that is in the hymnal came to be there. The Kirking Service was also an opportunity to invite visitors to church, and there were indeed some of those present Sunday Oct. 29!

The congregation extends a sincere thanks to the Salt Lake Scots Pipe band for their help with the service.
