This building has been a great asset to the ministry of Hidden Valley. Even the new steeple that members and supporters built, teaches our community what it means to know Christ.
With the help of supporters nation-wide, and
the sacrificial giving of the Hidden Valley congregation,
plus churches and individuals nation-wide, the congregation
was able to put down $260,000 towards the purchase of this
property. A mortgage of $240,000 provided the rest of the
money to purchase the property. While the payment on this
loan is within what the elders believe the congregation can
afford, it will be a new challenge! As of 2006, the loan has
been paid down to under $199,00! It is our prayer that this
amount can be paid off within three years! Please consider
helping Hidden Valley continue this exciting ministry! A
video tape is available to those who are interested.

Sola Gratia, Sola Fide, Sola Scriptura. These three Latin phrases summarize the unique teaching of Christians everywhere.
Sola Gratia, meaning Only Grace, is the cornerstone of Hidden Valley's teaching. The Bible teaches that "It is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9) Christians believe that salvation is by Grace alone. Grace is not simply one ingredient among many - it THE ONLY one. There isn't anything that anyone can add to God's Grace in order to know HIM, and have Eternal Life.
Sola Fide, meaning Only Faith, is a teaching emphasized weekly at Hidden Valley. Romans 1:17 teaches that faith defines a Christian, in saying "For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith, from first to last, just as it is written: 'The righteous will live by faith'." And in another place, "But now a righteousness from God, APART FROM LAW, has been made known, to which the Law and Prophets testify. This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus" (Romans 3:21-24). Christians have been given all the riches of Heaven, FORGIVENESS OF SINS, and the promise of Eternal Life, as a free gift by God's Grace, a gift that is received by faith.
Sola Scriptura, meaning Only Scripture, is the Christian belief that the Bible ALONE is the authoritative Word of God. It is only in the Bible that we have God's revelation of HIMSELF, and only there do we find God's Word separate from the opinions of people. Many books have been written that might help us understand what it means to belong to Christ, but ONLY THE BIBLE is authority from God, and any other writing must be checked for error by the Bible. The Bible itself claims this: "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16).
